An extraordinarily gifted teacher and mentor, Michel has a rare ability to pivot his skills on a number of axes: he moves from Six Sigma as a philosophy and mental approach into detailed analysis and planning and back; he moves from theory into real-life example and ‘case study’ and back to illustrate; he moves quickly through material when he senses that you can move with him, but slows to summarise and allows you to catch breath. Approach and method can be taught, but Michel’s great nuanced skill is rooted in communication and his understanding of his audience. I greatly enjoyed studying with him, and learned a huge amount, too.
